Pros

Worked for 7 years with Oxfam India. 1. Excellent Work Environment 2. Job Satisfaction

Cons

Strategy changes hamper employees. I was given pink slip after the operation was shut down. Higher ups need to listen to more to employees.

Pros

The people I have had the pleasure to work with at Oxfam America are incredible. They are brilliant, compassionate, hilarious and thoughtful. There is a real culture of learning here and I have never been more well informed in my life. The mission is one to be proud of and find solace in when the news breaks your heart.

Cons

The salaries for entry and lower-level staff are not sufficient to live off of in or anywhere near Boston or DC, where the US offices are.
