Pros

Work with fabulous volunteers, very varied job, no two days are the same, ability to be creative.

Cons

Very high pressure, huge expectations, significant unpaid overtime required to meet minimum standards, requirement to use own tech, constant change without considering impact, inability to take annual leave without consequences to self and shop, inadequate systems, inadequate communication from above, SLT in complete disarray with no accountability at senior levels, shop and lower graded staff are not valued and seen as expendable, the board of trustees are not visible and appear to be ineffective and don't seem to understand their responsibilities.

Pros

Lovely people and team in general

Cons

Very bad salary, banding is set so that they can only offer you the lower end of the bracket but entice you in with hopes of more
