Pros

Great job if you don't have college degree. They train you really well and you will learn a lot about taxes and payroll. The environment is professional, but somewhat laid back. They do recognize when you are doing well (through verbal praise and gift cards), and supervisors are always there to give help.

Cons

Pay is way too little for the amount of work you do, especially if you have a degree - it's laughable in that case. As a newer employee, I'm expecting to cover for senior co-workers when they are on vacation, and help out when they are there and need an extra hand - I end up doing more work than them and yet I still make less money.

Pros

Training was pretty much the only good thing about paychex, but I would suggest that you run as soon as you become a senior rep.

Cons

EVERY thing but the training was completely ridiculous. Promised of pay increases that never came, crappy bonuses, and lies about flexible schedules.
