Went from "hot" to "not" real quick

Pros

Very team-like atmosphere! Rewarded for great sales performances in a given year. Training provided for new sales reps is outstanding!

Cons

Needed to leave your territory to go to the office for no reason and have team activities. It really hurts your sales and time management. Very micromanaged as well!

Training is excellant, great benefits, some offices are great to work for, can be a great career if you are willing to relocate around the country.

Cons

The office you work at is very important - if you work at a supportive office, you can make Paychex a career. If you don't, you will hit dead ends unless you are willing to relocate. You will not make a bundle (non-sales) and make below average of ofther similar jobs because of the benefits package. Benefits can be a reason why people stay as long as they do. Each office has it's own culture...

Great resources, unmatched sales training. The office atmosphere is great and if you're lucky you get to be a part of a fun team.

Cons

The base salary could be a little bit more competitve, but the commission and bonus opportunities kind of balance that out.
