Pros

Learn a lot in a short amount of time. Get a solid company on your resume, earn your experience and move on to another company for the money. Great place to "pay your dues".

Cons

Long hours & less than adequate pay.

Pros

Very flexible and can be fun if you work in the field organization. Get to do some fun things still - golf outings, concerts, and other events as long as you are entertaining customers. People are great overall.

Cons

Not a ton of opportunity for advancement for field marketing. All roads lead to NY. Frito Lay in Dallas, doesn't really like to take people from other divisions. Tough to make a measurable impact due to the size of the business and the difficulty in getting bottler alignment.

Pros

Very talented people driven to make a difference Great people from the senior leadership team to the frontline employees Ability to control your own career Ideas embrased by everyone

Cons

Long Long Hours little Personal Time Very unfair work life balance between compaines. Frito-lay is the work horse of Pepsico. Quaker, Trop, Gatorade, and Pepsi have 1/2 the responsbilities, work 1/2 as much, for the same pay and benefits.
