Pros

Constant official and unofficial events in PPL Park or in nearby bars.

Cons

Cliquish culture that centers on their sales division and caters to the sales department needs, with things that appeal to young single males, fresh out of college as a direct result. Pay was mediocre, training was nonexistent, not a lot of lunch options in driving distance. Dress code was very formal and strict, ABSOLUTELY no jeans in the office, ever, holidays were an afterthought. If you're young and inexperienced and looking for a place to work 60+ hour weeks, though, it's great. No overtime, though. Location is pretty terrible, the city offered huge incentives for a good reason. Google Chester, PA, and see the recovering crime capital of the area. Not a good neighborhood.

Pros

Really, nothing. They are all part of this power hungry, money oriented culture of greedy men who take advantage of homeowners

Cons

Everything. This company preys on the young people who know nothing about business. Can you say lies? You are supposed to become a robotic engineer if their god awful sales pitch. I feel slimey even talking about the place.

Pros

I started with this company in April of 2014 as a marketer. The first thing you'll notice is that everyone from the entry level marketer all the way up to the CEO is there to help you and make sure you succeed as long as you put the time and effort in. The training is straightforward and detailed. And the vibe you get in the office is that is your second family. I transferred into the sales department in October of 2014 and it was exactly the same feeling as the marketing side. The best part of the sales at Power is no more SGL's. Every lead is provided for you. The training is ongoing every week with a mentor, a boot camp, or just sitting in the office and learning. I've worked other sales jobs where everybody is out for themselves and fighting over the same leads. Not here. Not one bit. If you need help on something, there's at least ten people in the office ready to help you and take pride in seeing you improve. And you're given every single opportunity to succeed which is all I could ever ask for. Other benefits are full health benefits, 401K(after a year of employment), promotions, and a holiday trip to Cancun.

Cons

The schedule is the only con. In marketing, its typically a 11-8 day. It's a long day of hitting the pavement and you'll hear a lot of no's during the day, a lot of rude people, and a lot of doors slammed ion your face. It can get discouraging very quickly. On the sales side, you're on the schedule at all times. 10-8 during the week and 9-2 on Saturdays. The better part of the day you're waiting for an appointment that is sent to you by email and text message so planning anything at all can be difficult. You may be sitting down to dinner or going to eat at a restaurant and when you get that text, it's time to go to work.
