The Prologis Technology Team Is A Great Place to Work

Pros

Prologis is well managed, innovative and treats employees and customers with respect. In more than 20 years working, this is my first work experience where it all comes together. I respect my peers, learn from my boss and have compelling and impactful challenges in my work. Company leadership is really putting money behind pursuing sustainability and innovative solutions for customers. I get to pay my team well, and provide real opportunities to advance and try new things.

Cons

I've had plenty of creative criticism for previous employers, but none of it applies here. Everything isn't rosy, we work hard, have big challenges to solve and don't always communicate perfectly. However, compared to all of the other business context that I have, Prologis is great.

Best company culture I have encountered in my career Benefits and employee resources are top notch There are no slackers here. Everyone is passionate about what they do, works hard, and plays hard. Dedicated to being ahead of the curve on adoption of technology and new ways of doing business, but extremely diligent in evaluation, testing, and adoption of new tech and means and methods of doing business. No shortage of things to learn and avenues to grow here. Internal communications is first class... I always feel informed about the direction the company is headed and understand my place within the larger mission. Hamid, the CEO, is one of the most inspiring and open/transparent leaders I have ever encountered.

Cons

Fast paced environment as they grow their energy and E-mobility businesses globally. Very aggressive goals.

+ As the largest industrial REIT, Prologis could rest on its real estate laurels, but is constantly searching for new ways to solve tenant challenges with new lines of business. It's like a private equity/startup combined with a major corporation. + Leadership is supportive of individual employee growth and offers exciting challenges to those who seek it. + National reach, but local feel with a customer-first mindset.

Cons

+ Can be difficult to find your way without the right senior mentor, someone to take notice of good work and co-invest in your career. "Doing your job" alone doesn't mean you'll advance.
