Pros

Pulley is a great place for engineers who thrive in a high-impact, fast-moving environment. You're given ownership and responsibility from day one—if you like solving hard problems, this is the place. The team is small but extremely sharp, and you get to work with people who truly care about building something great. There's a strong culture of learning—expect to be challenged, but also to grow quickly

Cons

The pace can be intense, and expectations are high - this isn’t the place for everyone. Startups do mean ambiguity - if you need structure and rigid processes, this might not be the best fit.

Mission-Driven Company with Strong Growth Trajectory

Pros

Clear company mission that actually resonates with customers (helping founders manage equity fairly) Solid product that's genuinely better than competitors in the space Strong growth trajectory (ambitious plans to double) Leadership team collaborates well with outside experts Exciting expansion into new markets (growth-stage and crypto companies) Company values putting customers first rather than just maximizing profit Good market opportunity with Carta's stumbles creating an opening

Cons

Ambitious revenue targets create pressure on a lot of teams - if that's not motivating for you it's not a fit. Multiple target markets stretch resources thin. Relatively small team handling competing priorities.
