Pros

Honestly can't think of any.

Cons

My experience at PwC was regrettably disappointing, and I struggle to identify any positive aspects of my time there. Below are some significant issues that I encountered: 1. Lack of Career Growth: During my six-month tenure, no job description was provided for my role, nor was a career coach assigned. This absence of structure, clear goals, and KPIs hindered any potential for career development. 2. Unfulfilled Promises: The expectations set during the interview process did not materialize. I was assured that my skills would be utilized and expanded upon, yet I spent the majority of my time on the bench or working on tasks unrelated to my role, with little support for my professional growth. 3. Ignored Concerns: Despite raising various concerns with leadership, I found that my feedback was consistently overlooked. Promises of addressing these issues were made but never fulfilled, leading to a frustrating experience. 4. Lack of Transparency: There was a pervasive culture of misinformation, with management often failing to provide clear insights into departmental plans. This resulted in a team atmosphere filled with false hopes and uncertainty. 5. Rigid Hierarchical Structure: Despite claims of valuing all employees equally, the reality was quite different. It became clear that communication was limited to hierarchical interactions, stifling open dialogue. 6. Inefficient Offboarding Process: The offboarding experience was chaotic and poorly managed, reflecting a lack of organizational skills. This culminated in delays and issues with salary payments, adding to the overall frustration. These points reflect some of the most pressing concerns I encountered, which led to my decision to leave the firm. While I could list additional issues, these are particularly relevant for anyone considering employment at PwC. My recommendation would be to carefully consider your options before joining this organization.

Pros

Good name on your CV majority of people are nice to work with Good office location

Cons

Clear favouritism by senior management - hard for career progression. I started and was put on project straight away with no hand over. The manager I worked with made my life hell as they expected me to know everything about this project from day 1 - would often leave the office in tears. Blamed me for things that happened way before I started and when I complained about this to my career manager and other senior managers they did nothing but yet they said in all the training videos they take things like this seriously. Since leaving I know multiple people who have complained about this person and refuse to work with them on projects yet nothing has been done
