Pros

1. Remote work for US 2. New laptop every 3 years

Cons

1. No merit increases (last one was in 2024). QAD told employees that there were no increases in 2025 so they could reach a certain EBITDA and people would get their bonuses. 2. Leadership thinks in short term only - they do not think of long-term impacts of their decisions. Such as laying people off to look profitable but then there is no one to work in support.

Thank you for your dedicated 8 years of service to QAD. We sincerely appreciate your contributions to our Customer Service Delivery team during your tenure. It is difficult to hear that you feel our recent focus on financial milestones has come at the expense of our long-term culture and employee stability. We recognize the frustration regarding the pause in merit increases and the impact that headcount changes have on our Support teams' ability to deliver excellence. Please be assured that our leadership is working to balance these EBITDA goals with the necessary investments in our people and infrastructure to ensure QAD remains a sustainable and supportive place to work for the long term.

Thank you for your more than three years of service with our engineering team in Santa Barbara. We are glad to hear that you valued your colleagues and the environment we previously maintained. We sincerely regret the frustration and concern caused by our recent organizational changes and shifts in our global staffing model. Decisions involving layoffs and the outsourcing of departments are incredibly difficult and are driven by a need to adapt our operational structure to a changing global market. We understand that these transitions impact morale and the sense of community that defined QAD for many years. We appreciate the contributions you made during your tenure and wish you the very best in your next role.

Pros

There are no more pros of working there, it used to be family company back in the days. But they get rid of all employees that actually build the system, so no more values matters to them.

Cons

- fired all development team to hire contracts in india - no value for knowledgable employees - only money matters

Thank you for your more than 10 years of dedication to QAD. It is disheartening to hear that you feel the company’s values and culture have shifted so significantly from the "family" atmosphere you once valued. We truly appreciate the role you played in building our systems over the last decade. The decision to evolve our development and staffing models is never taken lightly, and we understand the frustration caused when long-standing teams are impacted. Please know that we continue to value deep institutional knowledge and are working to ensure our global teams—both internal and external—are integrated in a way that maintains the quality and integrity of the products you helped create. We wish you the very best in your next endeavor.
