Pros

Coworkers have your back, middle management is great. Depending on the client, you find rewarding work for yourself.

Cons

Leadership is way too in your business. Announcing big changes every month it seems. Can’t trust them. Layoffs each year since I started. People are unsure of the long term success of the company.

Pros

Work life balance has been good for me and the people are generally great.

Cons

As I imagine most software companies are, the sales pitch is better than actuality. Nothing happening behind the magic curtain here seems to be logical and successes come from fairy dust. They talk a lot about professional development and DEI but there's not much focus on it when it comes down to the brass tacks.
