Pros

The office is great. Catered lunches are amazing and the garden is a perfect place to unwind.

Cons

Qualtrics was a great company years ago. Sadly that is not the case anymore. Company culture has had major shifts and leadership is hard to trust.

Pros

Qualtrics is one of those wow, I really work here? Companies. The culture, the people, the offices are all top notch.

Cons

Unfortunately though you're selling something that at this time, isn't really mission critical for organizations, more of a nice to have not a need most of the time. Besides the lack in product and market fit for anything that isn't an enterprise organization, the sales process is kind of broken in the sense that Not many of the AEs know what they are doing. Zero product knowledge and can't communicate the problem they solve clearly enough to bring prospects along in the sales journey with them. Your success is very dependent on what market unit you support and who your manager is.

Pros

Good pay for the Kraków metropolitan area, including benefits you rarely see elsewhere (examples include 7000 PLN experience bonus, which is usually used to fund a vacation; 3200 yearly for wellness items, such as sports equipment). The personnel in the Kraków office is young and easy to talk to. The atmosphere in the office is relaxed.

Cons

It is embarassing that a company responsible for, among other things, improving the employee experience cannot deal with terrible reasons related to trust in the senior leadership (which has continued for multiple quarters). There is a disconnect between leadership and engineering, especially given that actual technical executes have mostly been pushed out or quit. There seems to be an attempt to offload responsibility onto managers, who are mostly just good people (who actually get good results in the quarterly employee experience surveys). Another minus is that this is a company whose main product is a web application, which requires around-the-clock uptime globally. As such, each engineering team has a mandatory on-call rotation, which is always going to be a minus for work-life balance.
