It is embarassing that a company responsible for, among other things, improving the employee experience cannot deal with terrible reasons related to trust in the senior leadership (which has continued for multiple quarters). There is a disconnect between leadership and engineering, especially given that actual technical executes have mostly been pushed out or quit. There seems to be an attempt to offload responsibility onto managers, who are mostly just good people (who actually get good results in the quarterly employee experience surveys). Another minus is that this is a company whose main product is a web application, which requires around-the-clock uptime globally. As such, each engineering team has a mandatory on-call rotation, which is always going to be a minus for work-life balance.
