Harassment Policy at RSM is a Joke

A paying job that focuses on middle-market

Harassment Policy is a joke - In my time I witnessed at least 8 different women report harassment (both sexual and physical) and the "investigation" lead to nothing due to the level and performance of the harasser. I overheard LA HR say they didn't believe a woman because she was just a first year. I also witnessed retaliation on someone that filed a harassment claim and HR did nothing to stop its continuance. One HR woman in the Bay cared about it but the lack of action lead to her leaving because HR leadership did not care. No work-Life Balance Salary/Benefits not market competitive - as someone that lives in the bay area were told that salary and benefits were a market competitive, since leaving I have learned this is nowhere close to the truth. Office politics drive promotion

PROS: Great location being attached to the mall Free covered garage parking Building perks (free gym membership, free WIFI in tenant lounge) Incredibly talented group of pleasant accountant and consultant professionals

Cons

This used to be a firm for years that appreciated their admin’s hard-work, reliability, teamwork and dedication to the firm. Most have been replaced by new leadership. Stay away for your own sanity and go where you will be valued! More cons: High administrative turnover High premium medical premiums and deductibles No sick leave A positive culture once highly touted has gone out the window.
