Pros

retirement matching? they haven’t culled too many of us…yet

Cons

RXO boasts about how many companies they’ve been able to acquire over the years yet was very unequipped to handle Coyote merger. Training was extremely bare bones, no transparency, and company culture tore down office morale. They’re trying to get people to quit so they don’t need to pay out severance. Once they’re done using the Coyote folks to move over their book of business we expect them to cut a large amount of people. Extremely corporate culture and we were way better under UPS

Pros

Never boring; improved training SWI’s (previously had ZERO formal orientation pre 2020); 24/7 IT help and an open line of communication with reporting and supporting management. OT opportunities in Operations. More exposure to plant operations, safety stock timelines and to cross border CBP requirements of NA crossings. Moderate opportunities for advancement. Support is readily accessible when a question or problem.

Cons

Firm salary caps within “departments” and levels; management will not recommend for advancements-that’s solely on the employee; shared team and building bonus buckets are unfairly evened out among “averages.” HR has broken policy multiple times, leaving workers confused, over worked and understaffed. Training is done by multiple people and has been unimpressive with new hires, resulting in continued turnover. For a F500 company, there is barely any formal orientation. Most is trial by fire. Company terminated hot spots for on call weekends, requiring employees to be grounded to home internet with no assistance to pay off either utility including cell provider as post-COVID has all calls forwarded to personal cell phones. Technological advances have either failed or have not shown actual improvements in current processes, causing additional work until a permanent fix is made (lengthy lead times).

Pros

Having a tough time finding any

Cons

The leadership here are only looking out for themselves. They constantly will promote people who are only in the same mindset as those who are promoting. They do not look at your experience nor how hard you work.
