I never thought I would be writing on the con's side of a glassdoor review, but having watched Rackspace grow and build amazing things over the past decade, to now watch it come crumbling down I feel an honest review is needed.
Since the new leadership came in to play in 2020, the culture has been ripped out of the company, removing the onsite gym, the discount to the external gym, free breakfast all to make cost savings to make the company look more profitable.
Credible, tenured Rackers have left without management putting up a fight to keep them because they have people within their IBM network to replace them.
Why are these people leaving? If I share to much information here my review will be taken down.. But let's just say how the management team are treated is inhumane.
The pressure is extremely intense, you cannot challenge or share any constructive feedback with your leadership team or you will be completely shut down and embarassed in front of your peers.
Flexibility- In a world where the majority of the country are working from home, the Rackspace leaders are still pushing for people to be in the office, despite communicating a WFH policy until the end of the year. - Confusing.
-Sales comp plan - better than some competitors but not as lucrative as it once was.
