Pros

Quite good work-life balance, benefits are good.

Cons

Way too much politics. Knowledge and expertise alone do not matter if you don't have good connections. Often low quality software is produced at cheap locations, and this is sold to the higher management as "efficiency". Skilled people leave the company once they realise there is no way to add anything of value. Everybody else seems to stay here forever.

Pros

Actually not sure what the pros are. Maybe the free food and travelling around the world, but that is all.

Cons

Don´t know where to start: bad atmosphere and too much pressure. Maybe just my point of view but it is an environment where all people are competing and not collaborative. Liked to work with SAP people from other countries than from Ireland. All that SAP SSC Ireland does is hiring "young talents" from university, paying a ridiculous salary and sending them to customers as "experts" with just six months experience in SAP which is totally and absolutely untrue. About management: what to say... the worst part of all CoE. They just do a monthly meeting using the famous Powerpoint where they explain the mid-term goals and they recognise the points to improve, but the salary. Although this issue has come out many times, they have said that it is something they are not going to change. €30.000 is not a salary for Ireland. And have to threaten about leaving the company in order to get some increase. From my part, direct manager was very good. I know they are too busy so they cannot attend our needs many times because of work pressure.
