      Managers don't care about their employees

      The managers don't care about their employees, don't respect employees, don't recognize contributions, and don't reward good work. The managers don't take responsibility for their own mistakes, instead blaming team members. They don't listen to feedback from employees. The work environment is very negative, more than 20% employees (exclude all managers) are forced into the PDP program without any warning and regardless of their contributions to the company.

      Thanks for your review. Our people are the best asset Sage have and we as a company know and understand that. That's why we've recently introduced the new Health & Well-being programme based around mental well-being, health & fitness and financial well-being. It's also the reason we offer award-winning benefits and great offices and facilities as well as good work-life balance. Colleagues are only put onto a performance improvement plan if they fall under the standards expected by Sage. Managers are treated no differently.

      Fantastic colleagues and great charity work

      highly volatile and fake - Massive churn of staff at all levels, especially senior roles - Management by fear - unreasonable VP's yelling and shouting at their staff, throwing all their toys out of the pram and highly unprofessional

      Management need to walk the talk...

      - Good location & modern office (London) - Talented people - Some good charity work

      Cons

      - Overworked employees- several people on sick leave due to stress - Hostile environment- blame culture especially in the supporting functions - Top management not living by the organisation values. - Extremely slow decision making when it comes to any financial requirements (e.g. Hiring/replacing manpower)

      Thanks for your feedback. This is valuable for people outside the company but especially here, inside Sage. It would help Sage mature in its leadership and organizational mission if such feedback was shared with leaders prior to you leading (maybe you did already do this?) We would ask all colleagues (if they feel comfortable to do so) to talk with their manager and People business partner for help communicating ideas more broadly. Sage needs each and every one of its colleagues to be an agent of change. We recently circulated an colleague engagement survey to capture this kind of feedback for our leadership so hopefully you had a chance to also respond to that.
