Pros

The pros of this company have always been the benefits and most of the coworkers.

Cons

Higher up management have lost touch with the front line and lost touch with the customer. There is no concentration on new innovation, customer loyalty and no understanding of SMALL businesses! Strict rules on vacation and stress at this job are extremely high! Carrying out a normal life outside of working hours is hard!

Pros

Sage has excellent benefits and is a very flexible work environment. You will get to know some great people and make life long friends.

Cons

Very top heavy. Too many VPs and not enough leadership. They preach One Sage, but everyone is only looking out for their product and doesn't care what the rest of the company is doing. You will be told how valuable you are and constantly shown how little they value your opinion.

Pros

Lots of really lovely people work there

Cons

Very autocratic leadership who don’t empower anyone. Leadership lack any strategic ability so only focus on short term decisions Disproportionate hiring at senior level whilst those in lower layers trying to deliver are stripped to the bone and burnt out Annual random redundancy rounds to meet financial targets often from critical depts which leave remaining colleagues burnt out and operational quality completely compromised. No change management expertise which is a big miss for a company trying to constantly transform Mandated 3 day RTO which was implemented very coldly. Demotivating bonus scheme where financial targets are higher than those communicated to the market and are never released to colleagues. No one knows what needs to be achieved to reach target payout, but every year they tell the market we have reached target but colleagues get payout well below target. Needs rectifying if you want the bonus to actually encourage colleagues to push harder. Don’t live their values of Human, Trust and Bold. Ultimately a company which is very confused about its trying to be and isn’t really honest with itself about what it is.
