Complete lack of transparency, plan, and accountability.
When interviewed, you will be promised the world and told how wonderful sage culture is.
That unfortunately is not true. Wages are lower than most competitors. There is not a plan of action for how front line sales reps will deliver metrics desired (they would like you to call from a lead list, but have few/no leads). Upper management will say whatever is necessary to pacify the reps and stop a storm from getting any worst.
2. Training is abysmal, you may never actually interact with the product you sell, let alone be able to explain the intricacies to a customer. The training staff is phenomenal, but they do not have a say in what material is taught. You also do not get a copy of the software yourself, even if it is for product knowledge purposes.
3. Promises will be broken. You may be agree to a bonus only to have it taken away from you 2 weeks before Christmas. You may be told that you may operate as if it were your own business, only to be micromanaged. You're "total compensation" may say 70+ on an offer letter, but you may only be given the resources to make 50k. 9 out of 10 times it will still be your fault. despite upper management acknowledging that you have not been trained or have proper tools for your position.
