Do not care about support staff. Avoid like the plague.

Pros

The new office is nice and in a good location. Not much else anymore unfortunately, which is a shame. Cons are the main thing.

Cons

Used to offer in depth training. Now they give you an hour and throw you in the deep end. Accountants spend a fortune on support packages and they get people who haven't got a clue because of lack of training. They are losing all their best experienced staff because of lack of care of them. People are off sick with stress and leaving in droves. They would rather get rid of staff with 5+ years of experience than offer them training. Upper management clueless.

Pros

Healthy install base of software products and all sorts of positions available. This company ain't going anywhere anytime soon.

Cons

It's a rudderless ship living off of it's install base. Management is clueless, with high turnover in the executive ranks, and has been trying to grow the business by rolling back benefits and salaries of employees. Also, it refuses to market itself better so public perception is next to nill despite millions being spent in marketing.

Terrible place to work

Pros

Sage is a global brand and internationally recognised, has a strong foothold in the market and an established customer base.

Cons

Culture of high turnover, poor morale among staff. Training not as advertised, horrible culture from newly incumbent management and wholesale change removing everything that used to be good about the company. Salaries below the market average for similar roles. Culture of hiring more staff than required and winnowing out the rest as fast as possible. Avoid like the plague.
