Salesforce... the new Oracle

Pros

Very smart people. 111 foundation. Marc (CEO) really cares for employees and customers.

Cons

Sales execs really do not care about customer sat. Sales execs are competitor focused vs customer focused. Salesforce used to buy selective technologies to integrate in our core product... now Salesforce just buys companies to drive our stock up.

Thank you for leaving us this feedback. As you experienced in your time here, we're growing incredibly fast – and the core of that growth strategy is to continue to focus on customer success, which has been a core part of our culture since the beginning. While I recognize that you no longer work at Salesforce, if you experienced behaviors that were not aligned to our culture and values, we greatly value the opportunity to learn more. If you're open to it, please provide more details anonymously by contacting our third party provider Ethicspoint at http://www.salesforce.ethicspoint.com/. Thank you.

Pros

* Company has a fantastic vision. * Undeniably the leader in B2B CRM. * A wonderful marketing engine * Hitting incredible heights in cloud revenue. * Very good benefits

Cons

* Unless a VP you are a very small fish in a very large ocean * Unless you embrace all facets and say the right things to the right people, you are a number. * Making change is extremely hard. * Sales is the only focus. Dont be fooled otherwise. * If you are male and middle aged you wont progress. (I fully believe in gender equality)

We elevated Equality to be a core value at Salesforce because we want to make sure that all employees are valued equally regardless of their age, race or ethnicity, gender identity or sexual orientation or religious affiliation. If you feel like you've been passed over because of your gender or age, that is contrary to our values, and I would ask you to please contact our third-party provider EthicsPoint at 1-866-294-3540 (toll-free) or online at http://www.salesforce.ethicspoint.com/ to provide more information about your experience. Worst kind of politics

Pros

You can get to learn politics here with practical examples

Cons

Salesforce Hyderabad is becoming famous for politics now. Every new team in hyderabad is getting local managers who are spoiling every good reason to work here. Latest example is the new security team in hyderabad. The people in the team are already looking for new jobs. Managers have done all the politics possible and instead of firing people they just create such a work environment that people themselves start leaving. The only people who will remain are those that know how to keep the managers happy. Politics and micro management are the only things that you will see here.
