      Successful company that should evolve further

      Pros

      The company has been very successful in building a product that appeals to a broad range of customers, leveraging the SaaS model. Now they've turned their SFA product into a generalized platform for business application development. So they are well-positioned to succeed. There is an engineering culture that will please technical staff, and a reasonable amount of benefits and amenities. There's nothing really stupid going on there.

      Cons

      Their engineering practices are still evolving and are somewhat primitive. Most of the technical staff are from a small number of places, and don't seem to have a lot of perspective on what they're doing.

      Pros

      Agressive, smart, well-organized R&D department. Clear technology-wide priotiziation of projects (at least with the recent reorg). Corporate goals are also extremely clear. All employees are required to map their yearly goals to their manager who maps to their manager, all the way up to the CEO. The Foundation makes you feel like you're not just working for another greedy tech company. Extreme passion throughout the entire company about what we do. CEO is a great leader and a brilliant marketer. Downtown SF location.

      Cons

      Long commute if you don't live in SF. Can be really stressful because of the intensity and passion of everyone working there.
