Pros

hmmm - Scene points with my free banking account needed for payroll??

Cons

all the other CONs listed in reviews are bang-on accurate. Do read them. Management issues, old guard, no innovation, shabby offices, low pay, etc... Essentially, a few rich dictators taking advantage of the working class - and that working class is different than in any other bank. On the surface, seems great that Scotia is such a great multi-cultural employer but the new immigrants are taken advantage of. Some are very skilled and working for peanuts. Look at those comments by happy employees - see the trend in spelling/grammar errors by those with English as a second language? They are happily oblivious to what good employers look like in Toronto. Glad they have personally advanced. Knew many who worked so hard to get educated and immigrate. Just hope they don't stay in Scotia long...God forbid they become one of the lifers. Just compare - visit a Scotia, BMO, CIBC, TD and RBC branch in your hood. Which place makes you feel like you're on the set of "That 70's Show"? - costumes included!
