      Pros

      Loved the customers... truly miss them. Not many pros other then great customers that are getting ripped off with fees.

      Cons

      Scotiabank pretends to care about the customer.... They only care about the bottom line. They treat staff like slaves and have pushed out most of the more experienced staff hiring young kids and call them advisors. I get better advice from my garbage man. They have taken away the work life balance and make advisors work 80% of the extended hours shifts. I left Scotia to go to a company that actually treats staff and customers amazing. They really need a new CEO and not one the snipes out all his competition and squeezes all employees to fatten up his wallet.

      One of the big banks, you can grow

      Cons

      The pay is terrible Toxic politics Too many people who should have retired a long time ago Way too much change Entire departments with only women . No equal distribution of men and women or close to in many departments

      Senior management horrible, not engaging, lots of favourtism or just ignorance of what is actually going on, doesn't care about employees and their well being
