Pros

Good salary. A new district Vice President came to Vancouver island and changed the culture from customer to sales focused. Before her, Scotiabank empowered bankers to solve financial problems for clients while yes, trying to cross sell products. Now it's all sales

Cons

So sales focused you are pressured to sell every client 4 credit cards. So sales focused if a client has too many products with Scotia or little money you are not to deal with them, in not so many words... No performance management. If you sell you might get promoted. If you build relationships and sell what makes sense you'll be performances managed out of Scotia.
