Pros

Job security. Fully supportive of hybrid/remote work.

Cons

Too much work. Eternally short-staffed. Focuses too much on saving money, sometimes at the expense of making money.

Pros

Scotiabank is a large universe where many opportunities can become available

Cons

As with many corporations it is now more run like a factory, everything is dependant on who you end up working for and that is like winning the lottery. I as a female employee when replaced in two positions they were posted as a higher level. Shame on me for accepting this, shame on them for not compensating good talent when they have it vs abusing the time and effort to where they leave
