Pros

None... Not even exaggerating. Probably any lawyer would make an easy case...

Cons

- You are not given the right tools to perform your tasks. - Trainers and team mates are super hostile unless you are a professional boot-licker. - Your teammates will not speak English whatsoever, and you will be treated like an idiot if you don't understand their accent. - HR does not follow up on any harassment report, they are always having lunch or too busy to help you out in person. Emails will usually go unanswered for weeks. - The IT team is not knowledgeable enough to set up the right permissions according to your position and accounting will disregard any kind of legal regulation in their records. - there is no respect for your personal time, your boss will reach out to you on your personal time after working hours just like the rest of the team under the same command (That is where the main problem lies... ) -Once you get out of the company they are going to give all wrong information about your last paycheck and mix up your position with some other you had about 10 years ago in another department. -I was expecting a challenging position that allowed me to learn and practice my skills, but all I found was a place where intelligence is punished and being a mediocre thinker by just copy pasting instructions using the worse grammar possible for the English language (or any language in general, we are native Spanish speakers... Allegedly) was too much for the team. -My boss always got pissed when I showed a higher performance as the rest of the team (their friends) would look bad. -If you happen to come up with a new idea to improve a process, you will be silenced.

Pros

Coming from another FI, I found that the culture here is very people-centric. They're very keen to grow your potential and encourage movement around the bank.

Cons

Their house is built on sand. Everything here is VERY manual - supported with very few technology tools. If the tools existing, they're not user friendly and don't accommodate workflows. Also noticed very few people have expertise in their jobs - it's incredibly difficult to get clarity on how/why questions - most people are just getting by.

Pros

Tons of overtime hours Company Pride initiatives The benefits are great, if you have time to actually use them

Cons

Tons of overtime hours Explicit expectation for off-clock time Insane expectations of new hires with no relief or development. If you're hired into a busy branch, you have the same expectations and level of support as those in much less busy branches
