Pros

A very respectful workplace, Scotiabank is the closest thing to a gentlemen's bank. Executive management takes care to foster a collegial environment.

Cons

If you are looking for quick career progression, you will need to manage your expectations.

One of the worst experiences in my life.

Pros

There might be some space for learning, if you are a person who cares about environment more than the job you will find it horrible.

Cons

People ignore you all the time. They are nice when you talk to them but that's about it. What really happens is that they are nice to you in front but talks behind your back. Unreasonable personal complains goes to management and gets splashed onto you without a chance to explain. It is bad to have someone talk behind your back and it is even worse to be unable to find out who it is and gets the blame anyway.
