Pros

Great place to work, great people, great corporate culture. Fun atmosphere. Nice to be able to deal with customers directly.

Cons

Low compensation compared to other industries. Paid holiday structure is rigidly set. Bonuses are mediocre. Software seemed to be outdated.

Pros

Secure - you cannot loose your job, no matter how bad of a worker you are, not sure if thats a good thing or not

Cons

Politics, favouritism, slow, low oppertunity for growth.

Pros

Scotiabank has a great corporate culture and it can be a 'fun' place to work. There are also lots of opportunities to further your education and advance your career.

Cons

The base salary is low and there is little opportunity for pay increases unless you change your position. As well, pay raises barely keep up with inflation.
