      Good stepping stone to get to the majoe league

      Pros

      Good work-life balance. Has a Winners store at ground level. Close to union station and TTC. Lots of stores at the Concourse Level. Good place to work for shopaholics

      Cons

      Very political. It's who you know, not what you know. Pay and benefits are way low compared to competitors. The mechanism for resolving conflicts is useless. Hard to progress to a more senior role if you are not friends with management. They can be very personal.

      Pros

      This bank is good for people looking to start in the financial services industry. Once you get some experience go and work for the other more professional banks

      Cons

      Career management is non existing. They do not reward or recognize talent. Most branch managers are extremely incompetent but have been there for decades, which exempts them from being efficient or even motivated.

      none. I would have been able to provide alot of reasons, however since being off on sickleave, they have literally ruined me. My health is worse than ever, and this is all a reflection of the treatment I have received from the management team since my leave.

      Cons

      scotiabank does not follow through on there commitment to customers or to there employees, from an employee of 15 yrs, i have never known a company to be so unethical, and discriminating. my advice to you, is to choose another bank because scotiabank is not at all what they claim to be.
