Pros

some sort of salary to pay the bills applause system

Cons

Paying Senior Managers to sit at their desk to play video games on their phones or to take ten 15 minute smoke breaks a day. Paying Senior Managers, Directors, VPs, etc to write emails all day long while rank and file sweat and bleed for the company for little pay and bad benefits. The office politics. The backstabbing by both the golden children and managers on almost every team. Scotiabank is famous for rampant fear and loathing The incompetence of upper management (Directors and VPs) The bullying. No one cares if you have a physical or emotional condition. Salaries are the worst among all Canadian banks. HR will never help rank and file employees. They are only good at writing memos.
