Pros

Nothing to add in this section for sure but have to complete 20 minimum words.

Cons

GSDC was sold to me at a very high level at the time of my joining but this was not the case to be as it turned out. The continuous involvement of Swiss leadership is suffocating the Indian leadership. But here is the catch, few leaders are lickers and those who are not are thrown out. It's not been a while when few top leaders were asked to leave much to our surprise. Why change when everything is running so smoothly and as per plan. Just cannot understand what the Leadership wants, they say VS18, i say get your own vision right. Those leaders were the ones i and a lot of my colleagues respected even though it was not same vertical. Top management bluffs and hides the real attrition rate of GSDC, cowards.

Pros

I served as a Service Success Manager for EMEA for nearly three years at SoftwareONE. Initially, my experience was incredibly positive, working alongside exceptional colleagues and under effective leadership. Great work life balance

Cons

However, approximately a year before my departure, a new India head and team leader were appointed, which drastically changed the dynamic. Regrettably, their behavior was characterized by pettiness, rudeness, and incompetence, which disrupted team cohesion and fostered a negative work environment. Attempts to address these issues with higher leadership were met with further hostility and frustration from the India head. The last year of my tenure became intolerable due to these circumstances, overshadowing the otherwise enjoyable aspects of my time at the company. Team leader asking the other team members to fudge the data to target someone, asking a woman employee to stop working if she couldn't handle a miscarriage are very small examples of the toxic work environment that 2 so called leaders created.

Pros

When I first started at SoftwareONE 3 and a half years ago, you can tell this global company was starting to make it big in North America (not top region in the company, Europe was). The fun and relaxed culture was super inviting and their 7 Core Values were truly honored on all levels of the business. Your coworkers became some of your favorite people, the benefits, were unparalleled, you enjoyed the company outings and Partner-Sponsored events and luncheons.

Cons

In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the company went into sales over drive. It did not become what was best for the customers but what was best for the business and how can we sell and be better than out competitors. Of course any business should strive for changes that profit the company, but not at the expense of your key employees AND key customers. High turnover, overloading work, and constant changes to the job role, lack of proper base compensation, lack of proper training for new hires, and lack of solid leadership deteriorated the reputation of the company and the founder's 7 Core Values.
