Firstly - thanks for taking the time to review - it's genuinely appreciated. As we grow we are trying to find the right balance between developing our current team, workforce planning to meet customer needs and managing successful growth. We don't always get it right but it's constant learning curve for the organisation. Having said that - a 5 star review from a former employee always upsets me and gives me strength at the same time. It upsets me because we have obviously 'lost' a happy and engaged employee. It gives me strength because it means that the investments we are making in our people and approach are resonating - and it also means we have had a positive impact on your life that I hope you can carry forward. I appreciate that there are so many different reasons why people move on to new experiences and paths - so I wish you every success in the future and I hope SWO and your path may cross again at the right time.

Pros

Thorough training and sales tools. Good company culture (used to be GREAT before adding layers in US). Love the CEO's passion. Good base salary and benefits. Industry-standard commissions/bonuses. Great sales kickoffs and top performer trip locations.

Cons

In the US, they are very Microsoft-centric, at the expense of building relationships with other publishers. West coast and Southwest see quite a bit of turnover in management and reps. East Coast/Midwest are very stable. They strongly encourage inside reps to move out into the field, in US or even globally. This sounds great, but for most of them, this was their 1st job right out of college. This is a very niche industry, and requires excellent business acumen, including sitting with C-level clients. Some of these folks weren't ready, and it caused huge turnover/disruption to the field reps. I literally had a new (green) inside rep every 6 months for 3 years. None of them had left the company; all due to moving into a field role.
