On the plus, the store was always clean. On the minus, I was always the cleaner.

Anything not listed under pros. Managers and the upper management don't care about baristas at all because they are easily replaceable. Customers are often rude to employees, as they think they deserve a crown for being a Starbucks customers. Employees are required to bend over and do ANYTHING to make customers happy, even if they're child molesters or a serial killer. As long as they pay $5 for their lattes, expect to bend over and make the customers AND the management happy, all whilst getting paid minimum wage. You'll only have opportunities for advancement if you suck up to your managers. No matter how good you perform, it won't be awarded if the management decides not to award you.
