Pros

coffee, "some" amazing employees who are wonderful people

Cons

60 hour work weeks for minimal pay, selection of potential employees who won't work for $8 an hour, feel like a use car salesman pushing the latest product or else no raise

Pros

They treat you like a member of their family. I loved everyone working at my store and enjoyed most of the customers who came in.

Cons

You have to start work at 5am some mornings which can be a drag on any sort of social life. Often they will have you "clopen"

Pros

Okay for what it is. If you get good managers and shift supervisors, it'll be fine. Some customers are cool to chat with. I've gotten a few dates from working there. Free drinks while on the job. Decent pay. They work around your schedule most of the time.

Cons

Orders from management can be confusing and/or contradictory. Do you do what manager A or manager B wants? You can't do both, and the other one will get mad. Some supervisors are really bad and give you long lists of impossible tasks to complete in impossible amounts of time and yell at you when you inevitably fail. Prepare to get on your knees and scrub floor mats and toilet bowls. We're janitors and baristas.
