Great people to work with, busy but fun work life on the clock, free pastries and coffee drinks. Very laid back during night shift.

Cons

Busy and stressful during the morning rush. Drive-thrus suck.

Pros

Starbucks has great benefits, they only require you to work an average of 20 hrs per week to receive health coverage. They also have a decent starting wage (always a certain percentage above minimum) and there are lots of opportunities for promotion. The scheduling is simple and it is very easy to get time off if necessary.

Cons

Starbucks management is generally young and inexperienced. Managers are often extremely dramatic, manipulative, passive, and immature. Managers don't seem to stay for very long with this company, however, if they do make it through to district manager level, they are typically not bad managers.
