Pros

Great Benefit Package if you are available 24/7 to qualify for them. Health insurance, life insurance, and dental insurance are all available. It is very difficult to obtain and maintain the required hours needed for benefits. Especially if you are not available open-close.

Cons

If you are not management then you will not work full time. Only management works 40 hours. Baristas usually are scheduled to work 20-25 hours. Sometimes less. Depends on your availablity and if the manager cares for you.

Pros

You learn a lot in a very dynamic environment. You are also associated with a powerful brand.

Cons

It's a very crazy environment to work in. Many different directions from the organization. Personal fiefdoms within the organization. The company is very Wall Street focused so that you have very unrealistic timelines. There really is a lot of waste in the organization. As a result, I don't think people are treated very fairly.
