Culture is not what you think it would be. While every corporate environment has it's challenges, expect to see stuff in print that won't apply to you.

Our pay for baristas is really low.....and so turnover if really high. I feel like I am constantly training and training.....people just don't stay. A lot of drama because it's mainly high school kids that will work for our low pay. Not enough labor. Customer demands are so high and we are never given enough labor to get the job done. ZERO Career growth. Once your the store manger there really isn't much room for growth. The next role would be district manager...but thats really hard if not impossible to get. ZERO work life balance. You are on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year. If someone calls out or is late...YOU have to drop everything and go in....even if it's your day off. It's just really hard to enjoy your days off because you are constantly getting calls and texts from your store.
