Business Outlook
Pros
The company gives you a lot of space to actually personally develop (so picking up new technologies is not supposed to be something you do on your own time). The benefits are great, and so it the salary. There is a fairly limited amount of corporate bs.
Cons
There is some amount of corporate bs. All developers get windows laptops by default. Software requires access rights and working with an internal software manager (which is not that bad, but...). You can get a virtual machine, but without root access. The technological stack is fairly heavily microsoft biased. Opensource contributions are essentially nonexistent while working here - or at least that seems to be my experience. These might not be cons to most people.
