Great company... Truly global

Pros

There are a lot of smart people who work hard and do their job well. There are a lot of chances to work on global projects and initiatives and take up job rotations or work abroad in other locations. Management pushes a culture of integrity, discipline and empowerment. There are few hierarchies and many chances to work on projects beyond your assigned role. There is very little or no micro management. The company focuses on long term strategies and management does not get not get rattled by short term challenges. Management invest in new technology and always looking to stay ahead.

Cons

Since the company is based in Switzerland, most of the career growth opportunities are in Switzerland. The performance management or employee rating system doesn’t compliment the company culture.

Pros

Good work-life balance, interesting benefits (discounts on gym, massage, products etc...) and excellent vouchers for both meals and groceries (very above the average in the city at almost BRl 50 per day just for meals + > BRL 500 for groceries per month). Friendly co-workers and possibility of doing international networking (depending on the area) since the company has offices in all continents. Easy access to senior staff (from local managers to Global Heads)

Cons

The office in Brazil still is not much aligned with the global practices - depending on the area, international networking is very limited despite being a global company. Also, the company needs to work towards more attractive salaries and bonuses if it aims to retain/attract good talents.
