      Internal politics, small increments and lack of recognition of working staff.

      Pros

      One learns a lot among demanding managers and interesting projects, and, strive-for-perfection environment

      Cons

      Heavy workload, unattentive management treating employees as if they are just figures. No appreciation felt as employee. Too much politics and a bunch of Credit Suisse people that moved over to Swiss Re repeating the same s*** now in Swiss Re. Recent employee suicide- Swiss Re is not the Swiss Re that used to be anymore!

      Pros

      Excellent company to work for. Number 1-2 in the reinsurance industry. Access to Global expertise is a plus. Good salaries and benefits above average if compared with direct insurance companies.

      Cons

      A large company with a heavy structure, which sometimes seem to be bureaucratic. There have been constant changes in the recent past changing the direction of the company.
