Pros

Employee mobile discount. Some roles offer remote work or flex on-site/work from home schedules.

Cons

Senior leadership out-of-touch with the company and routinely publicly disparages groups within the company. Severe lack of communication.

Pros

The benefits package as a full time T-Mobile is hard to beat. 75% off all cellular service, but no discounts on devices outside of customer-based promotions (activations, trade-ins, etc). Some of the best health, dental, and vision packages I’ve ever come across at a major company. The longer you stay, the significantly more PTO one acquires. RSUs yearly. Great 401k and ESPP programs. The benefits for some are worth it to stick through the hellish landscape the company is currently navigating.

Cons

Since the two-punch combo of COVID-19 and the Sprint merger, the company has gone to hell in a hand basket. Once the merger occurred and Legere bounced, so did the culture. A lot of the Sprint employees we took on are wretched in their job performance and bring nothing to the table. In fact, they make the job significantly harder. In retail, customers have gotten significantly nastier since the pandemic. District managers play politics and only take care of those who are willing to play their games. Morale is at an all time low and just looking at the T-Mobile subreddit is proof of that. Things are only about to get worse as Sprint customers are about to have the rug pulled from underneath them as they have not been responding to our offers regarding the Sprint network shutdown. I feel bad for anyone who will have to work during the summer of 2022 as it’ll be a slew of escalations from the Sprint side of the business.
