Pros

Great benefits. Half price phones, $15 all inclusive rates plans for phones, health insurance package, they even offer pet insurance! Training program is good and you're paid for it. My coach in training was an excellent teacher and an overall nice person to work for.

Cons

Once you get through training, sales are the only thing that matter. You are required to keep your calls under 7 minutes long, even if the problem is not resolved. My coach wanted us to upsell twice on EVERY call, even if the customer was upset with their bill and was clearly not trying to buy anything more. I got cussed out on a daily basis. Co-workers who did make the sales quota either did not remove services customers had asked them to or would add services without the proper permission. After one bad call where I had to remove about $45 worth of services, my coach threatened me with my job. And that's when I quit. This job is not worth the stress and is just a waste of time. Don't bother.

Pros

Stable/secure company due to lots of customers. Fringe benefits (i.e., discounted employee cell phone plan) are useful and appreciated by employees. Also, the option to get a new cell phone every few years as an employee is another nice perk of being an employee. Employee team-building trips are fun and the variety of trips is also nice.

Cons

Low salary is the biggest downside to working at this organization. Similar cell phone companies pay their employees far better than this organization is capable of doing. Lack of growth opportunities is another factor why employee morale is down and they tend to have a high turnover rate in certain departments. Employees at this organization don't respect one another and management has no regard for lower-level employees contrary to what management may say.

Pros

The only reason to work here is for the pay and the benefits. At least they try to keep these competative. It will be interesting to see if these remain in tact as the results continue to decline.

Cons

The leadership team does not know what they are doing. They do not provide direction, do not have any desire to lead in wireless, are selfish and manage their teams in silos. They talk about values but ususally only use them to cover up and disguise their real actions. It is easy to be tricked into situations and they love to point fingers and lay blame on those outside their own group or lower level employees.
