Pros

Great place for 9-5ers, benefits are ok.

Cons

Middle management's tone is completely disconnected from senior leadership. Senior leadership touts an innovative/disruptive/no BS/get things done atmosphere whereas middle management perpetuates bureaucracy, conformity, groupthink, status quo environment.

We appreciate your insight and honesty. We strive to make sure the communication and direction between our leaders and our teams is consistent and transparent, but with any large company we know there can be some hiccups and plan to share your thoughts with our leadership team to help us find those gaps. Our surveys are anonymous and are a way for our team members to feel comfortable telling us how they truly feel about our company and their current work role/environment. We will continue to make sure our leaders are relaying that intent as we never want our teams to feel pressured to share feedback with us. --T-Mobile Careers Team

Pros

- Health benefits - Stock grants and bonuses could be, but great effort is made to ensure only the socially valued employees receive them and stay long enough to taken advantage of them.

Cons

The ecosystem does not allow for the delivery of meaningful work - Talk, talk and more talk about changes, but leadership changes, which are frequent, ensure that real change will never occur. 50% off service, and that's it? Finance told me prices were raised a few years ago due to financial difficulties. Not sure how the employee plans were affecting corporate finances, especially considering the product... Emotions & Perception Rule - No value is placed on honestly delivering work and the eggs that are broken each time. Nope. Do not break eggs and ensure time is spent reporting the same data 10 different ways, each of which will change each week. If you are ok showing up to meaningless meetings, wearing your magenta, then you will be fine. If you actually want to accomplish something, forget it. Fake Work Everywhere - Way too many people manage processes, all of which add egregious amounts of time to any effort. Have a car? Forget about parking. Even FTEs are now parking offsite. Cubes are being removed. Hope you like sharing a small table.
