Not the best, not the worst

Pros

- Good pay for relatively little effort - Somewhat lax culture - IC employees are generally friendly and easy to get along with

Cons

- Probably the worst management I've ever seen, at every single level - Too many cooks in the kitchen, none of whom actually know what they're doing - This company will market itself, even to its employees, as some fancy, fast-paced tech company. No, it is a very slow, very unexciting company to work for, and there really is not much innovation at all from what I've seen. - I've never had so many useless meetings before. - Unless you're in good with your manager(s), don't expect to be promoted. They will not fight for you and you will not have visibility where it matters.

Pros

Great benefits: health, tuition, 401k, stocks, service discount!! The uniform is fun. Money is as good as you are!

Cons

No work/life balance No transparency A lot of layoffs as of recent Culture has drastically changed since sprint merger A lot of favoritism and politics when it comes to promotions My advice: go in for the money but don’t get attached. The magenta koolaid is strong. Make your money and mind your business unless you’re trying to move up. If you’re moving up, don’t rely on people unless you’re kissing major butt. Read the employee handbook and don’t let anyone take advantage of you.

Pros

Good benefits, Great work when you have the right team, Great rewards when you have the right management chain

Cons

Constant re-orgs can land you in a bad team, with a bad manager, in a crummy role, or a combination of all 3. But the problem is, is it's your problem to fix. Find a new role, team, or manager. You can be stuck trying to fight your way out and no one is hiring and your morale is plunging into the mountain. 2 or 3 or-orgs later and you are doubting your abilities.
