Pros

Fun environment. Lots of parties and lots of freebies. You get christmas gifts every year. There is free lunch in somewhere in the building at least once a week. It is almost impossible to be fired even with unethical behavior. There is one quota for sick leave and vacation which adds up to be 24 days a year. Health benefits are competitive with other companies. Convenient location. There is Free parking. There are good restaurants in walking distance.

Cons

Salary is low. There is a huge difference in salary between the employees who are doing the same job with the same position. T-mobile has values but nobody cares about the values. Management is political. Unethical behavior is OK as long as you are a manager. Some people get promotions one after another because they know the right person. There are quarterly evaluations. Therefore you have to evaluate yourself every 3 months and it is time consuming. FMLA leave is not competitive.

Pros

Below the Manager level, T-Mobile encourages a work/life balance. There are plenty of opportunities for advancement within the company for people who are willing to work and excel. Communication is fair and open, and within most groups there is a minimal of political maneuvering.

Cons

At manager and above, the expectation is for employees to give their lives for the benefit of the company. There is a large amount of below-average leadership at various levels within the company, and a strong prevalence of cronyism. The company goals and values are structured in a way which allows the weak to hide amongst the performers.

Pros

Outward appearances are that they are trying to do the right things but never follow through and have constantly changing goals

Cons

no recognition, no promotion prosects - it's who you know not what you know. Performance measurement sold as your individual contribution but everything gets "calibrated" by HR and senior managers - totally demoralizing - no point in making any effort as you get no credit for it ......you'll get the same score=same bonus= same annual pay increase so may as well sit back as other do.
