Pros

benefits-a lot of vacation time, great phone plan, medical coverage. enjoy reading the forums where employees can read other employees' opinions, but it is hard to find (on one voice somewhere?) everyone I work with is fabulous.

Cons

communication of changes is really lacking, pay is decreasing dramatically, launch dates get postponed 90% of the time, making changes to mirror other carriers in relation to the added fees, too many metrics. glad to see there is cross-channel experiences, but wonder if it is going to do anything. there should be real hands on trainings for new products, have to figure it out yourself

Pros

There are no longer any positives to working at T-Mobile since the reorganization in early 2007 --- at that time we were told that the company was moving in a new direction. Times change & we needed to change with them --- so they “let experienced people go” and promoted inexperienced people --- not to mention giving the biggest market to a ‘robot’ someone who in no way shape or form motivates his sales team to go out & get others excited. Instead there are always ‘fire drills’ that only amount to causing some of us to see our doctors due to the stress.

Cons

Personal life no longer exists. For a company that advertise ‘sticking together’ they sure don’t practice it with their employees == at least not here on the east coast. We take the on line course regarding only working 8hrs. and if you happen to go over then by all means document it so that you are paid. Well when this does occur management doesn’t want to approve it – they make you feel like a slacker or guilty for having a life outside the company! I am sorry but I no longer feel appreciated -- instead I am constantly faced with the threat of termination!
