Pros

The co-workers on my team were good

Cons

Mismanagement, underpaid for the hours required, our entire team was working 12-15 hours a day and weekends. Everyone is feeling burned out. Not replacing employees when they leave - so that burden is just shifted to us still here, with no increase in pay or title. Management not listening to us when goals cannot be met due to not having enough people, and then blaming us for not meeting those original goals, when we had half the staff we started with. I'm just so tired.

Pros

Good discount on phone service Good diversity focus of acceptance of all people (race, gender, orientation)

Cons

Wants to be a leader in digital, technology, and cybersecurity but wants to pay low or middle of the range compensation. TMobile CEO requires almost everyone to be in the office with a minimum number days of the week 3 days for a sr manager and below, 4 days as a director or above. They are also checking badge logs and pressuring people that aren’t meeting the minimum. We also can’t hire qualified cybersecurity people because of our low compensation and requirement for butts in seats. So, instead we’re just hiring warm bodies. Leadership is abysmal, there’s no accountability within the company especially in the technology orgs. When faced with a problem and a tough situation, executives are only focused on “quick wins.” So, technology and cyber security debt just continues to build. This is exasperated by the massive layoffs the technology and engineering orgs have experienced. All while record revenues every quarter. The result of all of this is our technology and security employees are over extended and exhausted while receiving little support from the leaders in the company except the expectation to “do more with less” while requiring you to be in the office so they can see you getting on a webex call. I don’t recommend working for T-Mobile if you’re a technology employee. If you’re a cyber security professional run as far and as fast as possible away from T-Mobile.
