Pros

hours, pay allright, phone plans good, benefits great. overall was an ok place to learn this business. really good health insurance.

Cons

distrust of all employees, treated staff as if they were incapable of doing a good job. Micro managing and poor feedback. Raises were arbitrary at discretion of managers, if they liked you, you would get a good raise, if they wanted you out they found a way around most laws available. was forced to get rid of an employeee just because the employee had a few minor problems but stood by they company when they were the only one still working at the store.

Pros

The sales associates and store managers are great people. The benefits are good and you only have to work 40 hours

Cons

Every aspect of the business is micro managed by district (mid level) managers. You can not have an individual management style, you are literally told how to run your business and interact with your associates and customers. They want you to hold your people accountable for performance/compliance around so many useless tools and processes. Here is a list of a few of the metrics associates performance is tracked on: Right Fit Guide utilization (tool to capture customer info), Quik View Offers % (offers tailored to each customer) , e-bill/e-mail capture/easy pay (direct debit, handset protection %, data calculator usage, number credit apps ran, number of credit apps closed, prime close rate, post paid adds, total adds, total value, accessory sales, etc.....and the list goes on and on! Your associates can excel in almost everything and they will want you to write them up if they struggle in one little metric. The pressure that district managers and executive managers put on you to exceed in all of the metrics and hold your associates accountable is almost unbearable. Everyone is miserable and scared of losing thier jobs.
