Pros

Not much other than gaining experience. You get a paycheck. Met some truly amazing people that are hardworking. The products they offer to customers is great.!

Cons

Upper management at the district level is completely incompetent. Amount of hours worked will never equal fair compensation. Rampant favoritism. Target's culture is alarming. Zero work/life balance. Their commitment to truly improving culture is all smoke in mirrors. The moment you try to make changes that would challenge the status quo you feel retaliation. Sad state of affairs for team members. Target used to have a great rep gone are those days. Their culture is on par with Amazon. Though, Amazon seems to be addressing it Target is not.

Pros

The tasks of being a cashier were easy to handle, and as long as you had a positive attitude you were okay. I loved my co-workers and team leads.

Cons

Not a great discount at all, and sometimes if the store got busy they would forget to give me a break. There were multiple times where I had to stand at the register for 5 hours or more without any break. Selling RedCards is a pain as well.

Store Team Leader

Pros

Pay, running a target store, respected company, great team and leadership. Target is moving in the right direction. Great advancement opportunity so long as you are willing to relocate.

Cons

Work-life balance. No such thing as regular/stable hours for leaders, even though we try to make it so. All store leaders become overpaid sales floor or truck team members, very focused on task. Little to no time spent on developing leadership potential anymore.
